I'm looking for the jazz genre with 5 saxes- 2altos- 2 tenors- 2 baritones, 4 or 5 trombones and 5 or 6 trumpets. It's hard to find this style and I would appreciate some help.

What you just described is a big band set up. Glenn Miller, Cannonball Adderly, Dizzie Gillespie, Duke Ellington all were people that led big groups like that, and those are just the big name guys. There were tons of others that are out there.

Anything thats big band, swing, 40's, 50's esp. popular. Glenn Miller, Cannonball, The rat pack often had big bands behind them, Cab calloway. Alot of bands are still around to, Brian Seltzer for example. Theres still lots of stuff, just harder to find. Stick to the classics, and you will be loved, but beware...do not preform unless their PERFECT! Find out were all the music stores get their scores around you (chances are theres some big wholesaler that sells to schools and retail stores and such) and give them a call and just ask for anything from that era. Theres tons of stuff... If you want to drop an email my way i can send lists of composers, orchestras, big bands and my source (who does ship) if you want.
