I call my congressman and senators several times a month. I call the White House Comment line once a month. One time, the rep told me that Bush had been corrupted by power because they neglected their oversight of him. This neglect continues, of course. They just ended habeus corpus for him and said he can call any citizen an enemy combatant. In other words, he can disappear any of us now. And Halliburton got a 375 million dollar contract to build dentention camps for 'future programs.'

I have asked my congressional delegation's staff members who answer the phones - how can you be involved in destroying America. In years of doing this, only one got into a debate with me and he was so uninformed, it was shocking. He got very angry and insulting, too. Sheep even at that level.

At the White House comment line, the volunteers sound like sweet little old ladies. As I excoriate Bush, citing his grievous actions and asking him to be decent to his country and resign, they always get tense and reedy-voiced. Then, I always thank them for their service to the country and they get all happy again. One time, I got a young sounding volunteer, and at the end of my statement that Bush was horrifically destroying our country and had to go, she replied, "Absolutely!"

The number one thing we can do is Vote. I am afraid that all the letters, e-mails, phone calls and such fall on deft ears, unless of course you are a large corporate contributor. This is especially true of the repuglicans. We need more democrats in congress to return the checks and balance to the government. Vote this November.

It is a tough situation - especially since Bush's administration has passed laws limiting our ability to protest our government. But writing to your reps is a good start. And there are protests out there that you can attend. Supporting and visiting web sites such as :

can also help. But I am sad to say that I think the only way we can help is to vote and to make sure that your vote counts by trying to support organizations that are fighting for fair elections. God help save the USA from it's leaders.

The only thing you can do about a tyrant that hides his National Guard service records, and started a war when the world and his country opposed it, is vote Democrat in November
