I think what is left of the your energy that keeps the cells in your body alive and together returns to the universal pool of energy, hence the universe. Distributed in part or as whole to liven up something else as when needed.

That's right up my alley as I can base that on personal experience. There IS life after death. When we die, our physical bodies die, and we become energy and go on to another plane of existence. There is a very thin veil between here and the afterlife. You just have to be open to it.

Load of crap. I think a soul is like a personality - it develops from birth. I just don't get with this floating into space when you die then floating back down to enter a new baby child.

No body knows if their is life after death.All i can say is in joy the life we have been give and make the most of it for are children and grandchildren and others?

i certainly believe there is something after death...though no one can prove it or i have not gone there...
by the way, why think of it? there's life here to enjoy!just make the best out of it.

Do not care about it to be honest. We will all get the chance to find out one day so why waste this life worrying about it?

I think that there must be something else after death, whether it's heaven or rebirth. I'm not sure what, but there must be something more than this!
