You're on the right track...
Eat several (5-6) small meals a day...your body will burn calories faster and build your metabolism in a short period of time.
(eat about every 2 hours)
The first 8-10 pounds you shed is water.
Meal suggestions:
piece of fruit
string cheese, summer sausage, cottage cheese/yogurt
tuna/turkey/ham sandwich (lettuce, tomatoe optional)
soup
raw veggies
boiled eggs
popcorn
Always eat a good dinner...meat, potatoes/pasta/rice, veggie...your body needs carbs, protein and vitamins to stay healthy
Low calorie sweets...ginger snaps, fig bars, 100% juice popsicles
Drink plenty of water
Drink milk or juice/water with every meal (no soda pop)
Stay away from munchies, fried & fatty foods.
Cardio exercise is great, but most people don't continue for an extended period, do "daily" simple exercise like walking/hiking, biking and swimming are low impact, play games like basketball, baseball, or volleyball will help to lose weight, tone your body, make new friends and you'll have fun doing it.

Yes. As long as I understand your question correctly:
- lose 15 to 20 pound over the course of 2 months (60 days)
- by exercising 3 days per week
- maintaining a strict diet devoid of ALL junk Food
- eliminate All soda drinks (diet too!)
Your exercise regime must be aerobic (brisk walking, swimming, jogging/running, stair steppers). Anything that will increase your heart and metabolism. Four days a week or every other day would be better. Aerobic time pooed - 30 to 40 minutes and increase it to an hour.
Your diet should be low on processed starch (white bread) and high on protein, fruit and veggies. Stay away from soda and alcohol, salt and sugar. No pizza, KFC or Taco Bell.

I think cutting junk food by itself will make you loose weight right away.Ä°nstead of cutting out the soda, you may consider drinking diet soda and this way wouldn't suffer if you're a soda drinker like me :-) I practice Yoga for 3 years now,I was never on a diet and still losing weight and never felt better in my whole life.Ä°t becomes your lifestyle and your body needs it everyday once you start practicing. So,my suggestion is if the exercises other than yoga is too hard for you to do,you could always consider practicing yoga.Believe me you will never worry about gaining weight again and feel refreshed everyday.I hope this helps:-)

You can safely lose up to 2 lbs a week. I would cut out half the carbs though. It will help lose weight faster. Just remember that the more you have to lose, the easier it is to lose the first 10-20lbs. If you are already fit, it will be difficult to lose 20 lbs unless you exercise every day.

Depens who you are.there is a limit to healthy weight loss but it differs for each individual. The 2 lbs a week people throw around is because that is the amount that womens magazines recommend and is loosley based on the average women. For a defensive tackle 5lbs a week is no big deal. For a junior highschool student it could be quite a bit.2% of your body weight per week is about the upper limit.

I would have thought so.
But a healthy weight loss is one to two pounds a week.
That way it will stay off.
Good luck !!!!!!!!
