It will sting a little, but use witchazel pads, you can find them at a drug store, or buy a bottle of witchazel and soak a cotton ball and press it to your anus and stand up and then lay on your stomach for about 7 minutes. It will stop the itching.
This really works, and also cleans the area, depending on the severity of the itch you may need to do this once or twice.
Good Luck.

Start using a washlet.

I used to have an itchy feeling constantly and can't understand how anybody could put up with that all day.

Could be parasites or what others have mentioned but it could be caused from an allergic reaction to something you eat. Wash well, use moist towelettes after bm, and try Benedryl cream for relief.

If it is worms, you can check yourself for it with a mirror. Right when it itches, look, and use a q-tip to "poke" around and dig them out. They will be small and white. I used to get them a lot when i was a kid and my mom would dig them out. Ick. Usually it corrected itself, but if you've had it for a month, I say go to the doctor.

Hemorrhoids. If you're not allergic to witch hazel use that to clean that area. Witch hazel shrinks the hemorrhoids. You will find cleansing pads at the drugstore that contain witch hazel. good luck!

It sounds like hemmorhoids.Be careful not to scratch too hard, if you get a scratch there, you may get an infection. Have it checked out.

Could be worms, see your doc. For relief, sit in water as hot as you can stand, and then use a cortisone cream.
