Try eating yogurt that has the culture in it. I like the kind with fruit it tastes better.
It provides some necessary nutrients that help to stabilize bowel function. Also, buy some Bismuth tablets. Bismuth is most important to the digestive tract. A doctor discovered if he added bismuth to the diet of people with ulcers, the antibiotic worked much better so there is something in bismuth our bodies need.

My niece had the same thing that went on forever with the doctors finding nothing and finally they tested her and found she had an amoeba that comes from eating unwashed lettuce. She was on a course of antibiotics for a long time to get rid of it.

im not sure about the lupus but i think you should have a colonoscopy because my mother had that for years and died of colon cancer, get it checked before it gets out of hand.
