Praying for them to come to know the Lord is a good start. You didn't mention what your specific religious background is, but on the assumption that you may be a Christian--please correct me if I am wrong--I would say first and foremost to pray for them. And then just let the love of God in your life be evident to them and let Him take care of the rest. He has certainly done things in the lives of many of my friends and family that I never expected just because people were praying for them.

Heaven is without the constraints of Time - so heaven was then, is now and will be. Your already there, with your family. No worries!

Keep praying for them. Jesus said: "Only in his hometown, among his relatives and in his own house is a prophet without honour". (Mark 4:5). Such was the disbelief in His own home town that He could only perform a few miracles of healing there. So He understands your concern. Bring it to Him. Leave it to Him. Your family and friends are watching you closely and if you are following Jesus this will be evident in your life. Think of your feelings not so much as "worry" but more of a burden for them, which you can use in prayer. "Come to Me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28).

Because what you hear in church is designed to frighten you. Read the Bible but try for the parts that talk about how Jesus died for you and for them. If they don't get to Heaven it will be because they, like Hitler were horribly, horribly wrong. If not then don't sweat it because Jesus already paid the price for them as well as you. If you can't believe that then He died in vain.

And hon? Ignore the morons who are rude and crass to you, they just don't get it and are being left on the outside of the house looking in while you get to eat the gingerbread cookies and have the hot chocolate.

I worry about it too, my mum was killed in car crash in 2000, and I dont know where she went. I wasn't a christian at that time. But I hear stories all the time of God's grace to us on this. One of my friends had a picture from God which basically promised that over time her whole family will be saved. Another one had prayed for her sick brother and found out from his nurse that he saw Jesus and gave his life to him on his death bed. and just a week or so ago another friend whose dad was close to death plucked up the courage to confront him about his beliefs and his dad gave his life to the Lord that night, it was special because he couldn't talk, he just nodded his head to show he had done it, and he died on Friday. We know where he is. Keep praying for your family and show them the love of Jesus by your actions, God is faithful.

May be because you LOVE them. if you really love them worrying wont help in any means... Help them to keep away from temptations (bad things)... and also help yourself to keep away from temptations... The external world can be so promising that it can lure you to "hell".

Don't do good deeds just for the thought of going to "heaven" do it because it's what is RIGHT. God gave us the wisdom and the FREEDOM to do what is right.

Other people just got too much from our overrated environment and they just thought of thier WANTS and not much of what they NEED as a human being.

Ditch that religious nonsense & you'll go a long way to finding Heaven on Earth.

Don't. I know the feeling. Sometimes I think about that, and I can't bear the thought. But if you have faith and pray for them, then maybe they'll go to heaven, just like you will.

Hope I've helped.(^_^)

What do you think the criteria for getting into heaven is? Jesus says "I am the way and the truth .. no one gets to the Father except through me".

First make sure you follow Christ, then lead them to Christ.
