How can I nicely tell my boyfriend that I do some things differently then him?

He doesn't tell me what to do. But sometimes I feel critsized, cause he would do things differently and tells me what he thinks. I don't agree with everything he does, but I don't tell him, or if I do it is jokingly.

I am somewhat sensitive and like to feel people support me or don't say anything. I don't like it when he tells me I could do it differently, like he would. He doesn't push it, or anything, but I want to tell him to shut up as nicely as possible. Cause if this between us works out, he is going to have to learn to put a sock in it, cause i can't make all my decisions based on his point of view! LMAO.

It worries me cause my ex was controlling, but this boyfriend is not. So I don't want to over react.

How can I say that nicely?

i would tell him exactly how you feel....i was just like him!!! my girl told me straight up how she felt about it and i stopped!
