think of some goods that cannot very well be produced in my state or region because of the limitations of nature.

You're on the right track. Natural Resources are: metals, soil, oil, wood, etc. Each geographic area doesn't have the same natural resources. so it's limited on what products it can produce with ease.

Here's an example:
Wood is a natural resource. In an area without trees, it would be more difficult to build a dining table entirely of wood.

it's like you can't produce something if you haven't got the things that you need for that good to produce it. like people that live at the sea-side and others that live at the mountain, they both have different resources and they use there specific resources for specific goods. the nature gived us specific resources for each region.

Sounds like you already have your answer. If you don't have the object readily available........... you cant make something from it.
