America has a huge ego and doesn't believe anyone can do anything without America's help. We help countries almost the way a mob boss helps people: we'll help you out now but you know we'll be back for our share.

We have the most powerful military in the world, which can easily be used for good or bad. The truth is that we are wanted and needed in many other countries, but sometimes come across as bullies. It's like the one kid with all the toys telling all the other children how they should play with them - It's not always fair, but it's the inevitable.

This is where you are wrong or at least misguided again. In Iraq and Afghanistan the general population doesn't see us as bullies. They see the Al-Queda and Taliban are the bullies. Most of the villagers I see are very grateful we are here. Many are afraid to show gratitude openly, their enemy (the Taliban) has informants. I'm here, I've witnessed it personally. Not like you, sitting all retired on your A$$ in a recliner watching the news and then running to the computer to spew your poorly written, often misquoted and many times completely falsehoods.
WE (THE US MILITARY) ARE WANTED IN MANY COUNTRIES!. Just not by the bad guys.

the us military are all camped in foreign countries to make sure they can gun the **** out of china, this is the only purpose, all other answers are false information, this reaveals the true ego inneer of the american mind, and they also asks for money from japan to increase their shortage of daily life support, the us military also had a base in korea just to make sure the prohibitation of huclear warhead isn't going to be a threat to the us, in the mean time, the us government is waiting for the chance to see the eastern countries scatter so the us troops can take the major economic growth control of the world again

They don't really care if they are "wanted" or not. As for being a "bully" why don't you ask the oppressed people of the 3rd World about REAL bullys? I agree however, that there is a lesson to be learned: next time Europe gets invaded, let the pricks rot!

The US Military goes wherever the Mr. President orders them because he was elected to run them as Commander and Chief of all our Armed Forces. He is higher than any general or admeral but Congress will limit him by controlling his wallet and The Supreme Court will control him by evaluating laws. The policy of the USA is we will do whatever is in the USA OWN BEST INTEREST and nothing more. As far as I can tell we have no policy to dominate and control the world like our forefathers did with MANIFEST DESTINY.

They ARE wanted.
The Bahrainis love having a Marine base because it virtually assures Iran will not try to annex it.
The Germans don't want us to leave (even though many US officials have discussed closing the base there to save money) because the base supports the local economy.
Sure, the Cubans want us out, but most countries where the US military exists there at the discretion of the host country.

The US military knows they are not wanted in every country they are in. Their in those countries to kill. Ya.. to protect freedom here. Has anyone ever asked what they think the world would be like without the US military?

I bet the poor victims in Darfur wish the US would come and bully the Islamists who are murdering them by the hundreds of thousands.
I'm pretty sure the world is better off since the US bullied the NAZIs and the Imperial Japanese.
The people of Afghanistan are working towards a free society now that the US has bullied the Taliban into hiding.
It is a fact that Leftists and Islamists in this world, who make up a significant portion of its population, will never, ever like the US.

Because our ignorant president is out to prove he has a bigger set of grape fruits than his father so he is sending our militaryy men and women over to foreign lands in what he calls a way to make it safer here for us. I hate that fact that our men and women are dying over there. But hey thats what ole Bush boy wants!!
