The reason why they're pushing the age change is because younger drivers often feel invincible and tend to be careless in their driving. Ca tried limiting the license for the first 6 months, but often kids that think they're invincible don't follow those rules. Don't get me wrong, I know it's only a hand-full of bad seed that ruin it for all, that's all it takes. Watch the news, when ever there is an accident and young people loose their lives, the first one everyone blames is the DMV. "How can they license these kids?".

Because alot of the accidents that happen are from young drivers.
I dont know that 18 is anymore responsible than 16, but its a start.

Because I'm tired of scraping your asses off the side of the road.
I scrape up more teenagers than anything else, driving your stupid little Hondas after you decide to drag race into a semi truck.
Its a damn good idea. I hope they do it
