I asked this guy out Friday. He said yes. Since then we've texted and called each other every day. He makes alot of jokes when we talk, and says just kidding really fast, like he's nervous. The other night he got drunk and he and his friend drunk texted me at 2 his friend kept saying I'd better be awesome to his friend. And later on he told me he was excited. And before I asked him out he was intrigued. Does he like me???

However, you might want to bring him up on the drinking. Did he drive home?

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?

Maybe you should look at this in a different way, try concentrating on if you like him. Stop trying to figure out if he's into you because it will consume every minute of the day.
Do you like him...I mean of course you do, but get to know him and decide if this is someone you'd like to date for a while besides obessessing over his decision of liking you or not.

He's curious and excited. He thinks you have potential. Show him what you have to offer (and I don't mean sex). Don't be alarmed if the texting doesn't keep up. Try to ease the nervousness between the two of you. This is best done by sharing embarassing stories.

I know I'm not a guy but....aren't you taking this way too seriously? You haven't even gone out on one date and already you are a total stress case. Don't worry about it. If he likes you he likes you, and you'll have fun. If not, what does it matter, it's just one date.....
