The Windows Sound Recorder won't work. Have any ideas??

If windows sound recorder does not work, forget it then? try these other sound recording softwares, they are much better because some of them require you to burn a hole in your wallet!!

1) connect mic to the red colored jack on soundcard.

2) Select mic input as a recording device:
Start->Settings->Control Panel->Sound and Audio Devices.
Under Device Volume click on Advanced, click on Option->Properties, click on Recording, click OK. Make sure there is a checkmark on Select under Microphone Tab and that the level bar of that microphone is set to all the way up.

Hope it helps. If it does not there are solutions available, but it's way longer to explain.

If you need a sound/audio recorder, you can probably find one on BitTorrent.

Just download a BitTorrent client and you can begin downloading from BitTorrent by opening the torrent in the client.
