Well, I'd hope they didn't just sign themselves a one-way ticket to hell with no hope of exchange.

I don't put much stock in the bible myself but I still have respect for it...probably out of political-correctness than anything else. That, and a "Let's be careful with this just-in-case" attitude...

Their own bible = laugh at them.
My bible = get them to pay for it and get another, else throw them into nearby walls repeatedly.

Any Torah = get the frick out of the way while the ArchAngel Michael goes to town on their ***.

I would pray for them.
That Bible is a printed text, it came from a factory printing shop it is simply a copy of the text. The pages are not holy, The Message is Holy, not the page.... A person that would be willing to destroy it is in more need of prayer than they are condemnation.

Tell them what Jesus said.

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

Matthew 5:18 For truly I say to you, Till the heaven and the earth pass away, not one jot or one tittle shall in any way pass from the Law until all is fulfilled.

Don't get too excited, it is what they want.
Besides the bible is only a book written over 1200 years by a whole bunch of people, it embodies nothing.
Keep your faith without attaching it to a book. It should a bit stronger/ broader than that.

i would not do anything. the bible is only a book. it only becomes "the bible" when you're alone by yourself and with God reading and understanding His word.
