that when muslims offend (in most cases even violate) the christian faith most of us (i'm guessing) take it in silently and yet if we even mention their faith it's like we're commiting the worst crime in humanity? somebody help me get this one.

"Taking it silently" is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It is called suffering in silence and is one of the nine virtues of a Christian lifestyle.

Following the teachings of Jesus Christ is one major reason.
Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
While Islam not only teaches but encourages violence against anyone that does not accept Islam as the truth. The Quran teaches that for a muslim to kill an infidel (someone who does not follow Islam according to the more radical of that faith) is a guarentee of heaven.
Note: Not all muslims feel this way nor do all muslims teach this... nor do they interpret the Quran in that manner.... those that do the violence and bombings ect are a fanatical fringe sect just as there are in other religions.

and can u tell us one muslim who had insulted Jesus-pbuh or Virgin Mother Mary-a.s?. oh come on stop being a hypocrite -- i think we all saw how christians rushed paying more than their pockets to watch a false propaganda against Jesus-pbuh in form of Da Vinci Code, but Muslims across the globe banned the movie. some people need to be shown the mirror.

I think they might take it as cretinism, Like if they said to d*m*t Jesus all to @ell! Christians don't like to hear that, ask them is also like questioning their faith. If you ask a christian about whats their belief you'll get in invite to Sunday. also Muslims really live life through their book and vary privet about their faith!! People are also being kill because of what they believe in, we are lucky to have freedom to choose!!

I dont claim to know about Islam, so I am not going to answer why they treat Christian comments like its the worst crime.
I do know however why we take it silently. Because our God is a God who fights for us.
Exodus 14:14
The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still."

Sense they are going to be the one world religion during the Tribulation period.
it would only be fair, to let them have their crybaby ways now.
After all, it will be difficult to stomp they're feet while eating the tips of Nuclear Tipped missles.

we in the west have had more practice taking it. used to be we burned, hung, drowned, and impoverished those we felt offended christianity.
hitler himself said many times he was killing the jews in service to jesus christ, his lord. so, the christian murderous madness isn't so remote in history.
last reason to consider - the people who don't hold power are much more senstitive to insult that are the people who hold power.
