I haven't yet seen a police department in any small town in rural West Virginia. I think the bigger cities have them, though. Seems like the sheriff can handle things around here. The people here are mostly White, you know. Things stay quiet most of the time. Every now and then, you do hear guns going off, but it's always either hunters or some hillbilly shooting beer cans or paper targets in his back yard. Oh, did I mention it's legal to shoot your gun in your back yard where I live? Yep, as long as you're not trying to hurt somebody, you can waste your bullets all day long and nobody cares.

well since I've work for 2 diff. law enforcement agency's I can tell you 2 that are not the best! lol.... but I'll just keep it to myself!
