I am a neo-Wiccan, which is a branch of Paganism and a Craft Religion.
My parents were Christian but they encouraged me to seek my own path. My aunt and cousin introduced me to Wicca when I was 12, and I studied and researched it for about 6 years, maybe a little less before I decided to wholly take it on.
I've been solitary all this time, meaning I do not belong to a coven. I practice ritual that mark our holy days, the Sabbats as well as the Esbats which are the Full Moons. It is a religion/philosophy that highly reveres Nature and sees in it the Divine.
I chose this religion because it made me feel peaceful, empowered and in touch with myself as well as the universe around me. It made the most sense to me, and is a very personalized religion.

Christian (non-denominational). I was brought up in the Baptist Church, and as a child I believed with all my heart. When I became a teenager I began to question what I believed and why I believed it. I soon fell away from the church and I decided to research all kinds of religions and beliefs. I made friends with all kinds of people from all sorts of life. After about 7 years of not practicing the faith I was raised to believe as a child, I went back to church. I was searching for God. I soon realized Christianity was what made sense to me. It's the only religion that recognizes Jesus as God. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to Father except through me". Many other religions see Jesus as a Prophet. My question to you is, Can a Prophet tell a lie? If he does then he's not considered a Prophet. Everything doesn't always make sense, but that's when I have to rely on FAITH. Don't always rely on mankind to give you all the answers. Mankind and all his/her selfish ideas is what messed up God's church. Read about Jesus, and research what his life was about. I'll give you a hint...LOVE.

when i was very Young i began to research religions. because i believed in a higher power but not in Christian dogma.
i thought that religion should be peaceful and should spread peace.
i have researched many religions and have chosen to be a Pagan by all meaning of the word. i believe in all gods. some i choose to worship and some i do not. i respect and use magick and prayer to bring peace to my life.
as a Pagan i am somewhat of a religious scholar and i research religious beliefs on a constant basis. though i mainly research the Celtic and Native Americans because these are the people that followed the gods that i choose to worship in ancient times. i still do some study on modern religions. i own several bibles and a copy of the Quran and the Torah. i have a veritable library of new age and pagan themed books.

I am an Atheist.
I researched.
My mothers belief, still is, church of england (episcopal)
I was 12 & was encouraged to question & research my beliefs as a part of my confimation.
I found it could not give me an understanding of why God would create a world knowing as he must that there would be so much suffering? Does that mean he is cruel or indifferent?
I looked at other christian beliefs then in my 20's embraced eastern & new age philosophies. All seemed meaningful for a while. Yet all failed to answer my basic question why does there need to be a God?
The only logical answer I can find is that there doesn't.

I am a friend of the one almighty God. I belong to the body of Christ. Our members are spead thinly though the many denominations, We actually read our Bibles and do not subscribe to the separationist doctrines in the denominations where we attend church. We worship through traditional means singing, prayer, etc. and while we attend church we watch closely for those who seek an actual relationship with God. we then begin a teaching process including how to read the bible, not a method laced with personal agendas but kind of a scientific method which enables the reader to get to know God as a friend. This method was taught by Malcolm Smith. He has many tapes but I do not know how to get them. Normaly there is a bible study where these friends of god meet and study but there are no offerings. We do discuss worthy charities, mine is one that is working on the project of making clean water available to all the children on earth. We are not listed in any yellow pages but most everywhere you might go to church one of us will be there and if you show a sincere interest then one of us will approach you make friends and help you to become God's friend. We are the true Body of Christ.

Good day.
I grew up in a Christian home.
At age 15 I had an epiphany or appearance of God in my life.
At age 22 I began 8 years of graduate school doing the rational interpretation/study of Christianity.
I choose my religion anew each morning as I awake to read the Bible. I choose my religion anew each time I see love in the world. I choose my religion anew each time I accept the grace of God in my life for my shortcomings and failures.
I am a pastor who has heard confessions from a mass murderer to men caught in adultery to all the rest. God's grace has been sufficient for each one because before we choose...God chose us.
God's speed in your search.

I chose a spiritual path, not a religion. My beliefs are centered around Old Native Spirituality, Wiccan & Pagan. I am a tree hugger, and yes I have studied extensively in ancient religions. I was raised Methodist and never believed in the whole Bible thing. Nothing really made sense in it to me. I have found my truths in many strange places.
Blessed Be....

started out Immuanual Methiodist didn't answer the Questions hat I had .Parents Idea.
Looked at other religions and found the Celtic Religion sutied me better in ideas. and readded the Celtic Christianity as Christianity took most of its rites and rituals for the Pagan religion to try and get them to convert to just Christianity. Find the blend answers most of my questions and leaves me room to explore other ideas.

i have chosen to be non-religious
i dont really specify between atheist/agnostic
1. i kind of ride that line
2. definitions of both seem to vary
3. i dont really think its that important
i am non-religious because, i think science can explain everything religion does except do it much better.
and also i have looked into diferent religions and find what i think are large moral flaws in all of them
my parents are christian, so i am not the same religion as them and havent been since the seventh grade
i dont have time for too much detail, i need to finish my homework
