I believe that we humans tend to picture God as having human-like qualities such as male/female, feeling emotions, etc. However, this is only because that is what we know and are capable of comprehending. I believe God is the main source of all things and is part of each of us. I believe He is loving and kind and does not judge us in the way that most people think he does. I believe that heaven and hell both exist right here and now and we get to decide which one we reside in through the choices we make. I believe that God is always giving us all that we want and all that we need. We just need to figure out how to connect to Him to receive it.

I am of the opinion that God is a profound sadist who hates everything with a dark and bitter passion.
I am also of the opinion that life is nothing more than the ultimate butt to some grand cosmic joke.

God/Goddess is great. The pinnacle of everything. Is of nature. Can be viewed as different aspects as different gods/goddesses. Is a balance of feminine and masculine; positive and negative; light and dark. Is used by people for political and misguided purposes. Is not as the Christian bible describes 'him'... vengeful, jealous, strict, mean, judgmental, scary, etc.

I love him and I know he love you too. We are all children of God. He loves us all. He's just like our parents. He loves us but I'm sure he doesn't approve of all the wrong things we do. I pray to him through His Son Jesus The Christ. I thank Him for all the blessings I receive. I ask for blessings and I always ask Him to bless the families of the world. I ask Him to forgive me. He sent us here with our free agency and we are here to chose right from wrong. It is up to us, what we chose to do while we are here on earth. He doesn't interfere with our free agency. We will have to answer to him one day. I have sinned but I try my best to please him. When I sin I ask to be forgiven and I try not to repeat that sin again. When he looks down upon us and can see all the sins and evil that goes on each day, I wonder if he will finally have seen enough and who knows what wrath he will use to end it all.

I think there is a higher power. I think that we were created by
that power. I think that if we pray together for good and loving
things that we often get them. Whether this is the power of God or the power of many working together for good I have no idea.
I find my higher power in nature, in fields, mountains, by the water.

Certainly if I see him on the road , somewhere , I will not be able to recognise him at all..Since no one has seem him or her or it we have no clue as to how he looks .But , as I look around me, I am awe struck by the wonders, in nature , in human beings ( Mother Teresa) , in a perfect childbirth..... There , I feel the presence of God . His touch. His message as to why he created you and me.

Also, I find that it is in claiming Him ( God) to be mine or yours, Christian or Muslim or hindu that we cheapen God

Fascinating question. Thank you for posing it. There are two sides:
a) My thoughts on God is great, disappointed in me, angry at my failings, merciful, smarter than I am.
b) More important are my thoughts on God's thoughts on me: gracious, merciful, patient, caring, leading, protecting, and forgiving, waiting for me.
It is a constant battle to replace my thoughts with God's thoughts.

God is a make believe entity created by man to help us deal with life and death. "God" is great at uniting groups of people, but also great at getting different groups of people to kill each other.
