Say 2 people were playng russian roulette & 1 person loses (and dies obviously), what charges could the survivor be faced with?

Challenging a person to duel is the crime committed as provided for in the Penal Law. It is prohibited for a person to challenge a person to kill another person or himself just like a Russian Roulette.

Well, it would be suicide so it wouldn't be any type of murder charge. It could possibly be attempted suicide or reckless behavior. At the worst, 3rd degree murder.

I wouldn't recommend doing this at all.

Reckless endangerment. It may also depend on circumstances like who owned the gun, who loaded it, the mental capacity of the other person etc...
