When is a person considered assassinated and not jsut murdered/killed?

When it happens to influential figures or public figure and there is a political motive behind it, it is usually called as Assassination, if it happen s to ordinary people then it is called Murder

Assassination is the word coined by William Shakespeare. And this word is used more likely in the murder of well-known personalities. This is a word with a respect.

Assassination is religious or political murder. Assassin is derived from the Arabic word Hashisin and means hashish eater. Fanatic muslims used to take hashish or Mariujana before killing crusaders.

I generally think of 'assassination' as being politically motivated.

Murder is simply either a criminal or malicious act.

maybe there's more of a conspiracy with assassination, like an organization or group of people wanting to kill a person. Did you look it up in the dictionary?
