I've seen them wash their food in running water, maybe you could harness that and get them to do your dishes.

This is hillarious... and it sounds so much like me when I was a kid!! Don't punish her for her curiosity and concern for the animals. It's obvious that being under her bed is not such a great idea but the fact that she found them and got them there shows her dedication to them! lol move them outside and find a vet that knows what they need. Then plan on doing this over and over again through the years as she finds more animals in "need" of her loving care... lol I'm two years away from being a vet and my poor parents had to deal with this for years but it will pay off in the end.

Well she must be an angel for animals.
Get them out and buy her some stuff animals that look like the animals she had carried into your house.
Let her know that having real animals can be bad, They need to live in their own enviroment.
That is not good. I would also take her to the dr to make sure she didnt catch any diseases.....

You should get rid of the racoons and patiently explain to your daughter that she can't keep animals in the house because the family will get sick. I was a lot like your daughter, I once tried to keep almost a hundred chipmunks under our living room sofa. Needless to say, it didn't go over well.

this is a dangerous thing you are allowing!! these critters are cute and all, but you are really running a huge risk of something horrible happening to your child. this has got to be a joke, but if it isn't you better get those things outtah there. if you don't and something does happen , you deserve it. 50 shots in the stomach to cure a rabies infection in your daughter will not be a good thing .

I'd have to agree with the second post. Get animal control they will get rid of them and then expalin why this can't happen if she can't get the idea or is to stubborn then drastic measures like cutting the legs might be needed.

Ya gotta get them out of your house! They carry disease! And your neighbor could sue you! Get your daughter a bed with no underneath, or put her mattress and box springs on the floor.

It's obvious. Call animal control and then cut the legs off her bed so she can't hide animals under her bed anymore.

HOW R THEY GETTING INTO UR HOUSE!!!???
That would be my first concern..any thing could come in and infect u all.
I would call animal control as well and get these animals and any holes that they are coming in thru fixed!!
Good Luck!
