I asked a question before about "us christians" and yeah I shouldn't have put it like that. I never said I was perfect either. Being a christian doesn't mean you have to be perfect. I am far from perfect. I'm divorced, Had children out of wedlock, and I'll admit I love sex and can't commit to the whole waiting till I'm married thing. So now am I a bad christian because of that. Ok I'm going to stop now cause you probably all think I'm a freak already.

I hear you and understand where you are coming from. As a Christian the temptations that Satan puts before you are much harder than people who do not confess Christ. Read Ephesians 6:10-18. Just keep in mind that is nothing that you can do on your own its all about Jesus!!!!

Honey, don't take the criticism so seriously. It can be a brutal forum some days. If we couldn't moan and groan about each other, or poke alittle fun some of us would have nothing to say at all....which might not be such a bad thing.

Don't loose heart. Just keep on being who you are, and continue developing your faith and love. You'll do just fine.

Hoping the best for you...

On the contrary, Christians are far from judgemental lest they bring judgement on themselves. God will be the ultimate judge because he knows our hearts and everything about us. Read Romans 2 about judging. It is written in the bible. Do not point out the splinter in your brothers eye when there is a log in yours.

Thank you for being honest----
When asking questions (or answering them) people need to remember wording does matter but also the mood of the person who reads it makes a difference in how it is perceived.

we have a bad rap of being judgemental (some of us Christians are). But we have standards given to us by the God we profess to worship and believe, so we try, fail sometimes but need to keep trying!

Who cares? You might want to reconsider your beliefs. Not that christianity is bad or anything, but just to broaden your horizons. There's so much out there, so try it on for size and see what you like and what you initially believe in.

Always remember to have fun!

all of that is well and good. no one is perfect, and no one should expect you to be.

i think people fall into the trap too often of thinking that just because their religion has these guidelines and beliefs, that its possible to follow each one to a T. on top of that, if people get defensive/aggressive, they attack a single flaw in that behavior simply because they can.

don't worry about it too much honey, i don't get it either. people attack my belief system as well. for some reason, on yahoo! answers, we cease to be human and "must" be these perfect images of behavior, molded to our belief system.

Everyone sins, I have sin. In God eyes all sin is equal no matter how they may seem. But if you accept Jesus into your life, God will forgive all your sins!

No one deserves to go to heaven, It is impossible to get to heaven by trying to be the best person. It has already been done for you when Jesus (the Son of God) died on the cross (so by accepting him, you are forgiven) and on the third day, he rose to life.
