Many reasons to believe in God. For one, i have seen many things in this life, also observed by others, that defy scientific answers. I went down many roads looking for God, and when he didn't answer I blamed him for this miserable existence on earth, for so many people. Then, I finally broke (my stubborn, willful, pridefull, arrogant, attitude,) and let go of all my problems. I gave my life to God, and prayed about his will for me. When i did this, for the first time in a long time, my obsession for alcohol vanished, (where all other methods had failed, A.A., counseling, my loving and concerned parents) and i saw that my prayers were being answered. One after another, but only if they were unselfish. There were many times i should have died in my life. For example, I was kidnapped when i was 15, and left for dead in the mountains of taos new mexico. It was a very deserted place. A women, just happen to go hiking up there that day with her son, and found me, with a plastic bag rapped over my head and stuck into a colvert. I had less then an hour, with the heat, and the bag. They got an ambulance to me. I never saw her again. Later in life, after years of abusing alcohol to cope, I finally broke, and handed my life over to God. My life has been changing, for the better, for a long time. I then started going to Bible studies, and found that the bible, really did not contradict itself. Men contradict the Bible. I got Baptized. I learned to see things in a whole new way, and found that by prayer, and Bible study, I could find the answers that I had always searched for. I was lost in life before, but I finally feel free. I blame God for the hope I have now. As for all the sorrow in the world, the Bible gives answers to this, and warns of many things, but many people won't or are not ready to listen, so they either blame God or don't believe in him. God bless you all....

I believe in a creator, which I do not choose to call God. To me God is only a word , and what it means I have yet to figure out. Right now I believe the word God is alive in many peoples minds as the All Mighty, and that is not for me to judge. I do believe that there is a Creator that has created all things, and that I am still exploring, and probably will be until the end of my days. The important thing to me is that we all have some sort of belief that there is something greater then ourselves, and it is not up to anyone other then ourselves to determined what that might be. So hold on to your belief if it is Good and Strong.

I think we're all parts of a God. In each and every one of us, we have a spark of an essence of life - that's what I think god is. In a way, each and every one of us are gods. I don't believe in a god who's sitting up in the clouds and waiting for us to slip up - I think if there were a god, he would actually just love everybody for who they are. So really, yes, I believe in a god-like force taht exists in me, in you, and in everybody else. What's your view on God?

yes I do. Sometimes I even question it but my life is always so much more fulfilled and I'm a better person when I pray a lot and focus on pleasing God.

No. Lack of proof, requires freewill. No evidence of free will in the universe.

So, lack of proof in god is sufficient, but lack of free will kinda clenches it.
