Is it possible to have eczema on breasts? I do have excema and I think I might have it on my nipple. It is constantly itchy and it seems a bit dry.

I think it's possible to have it on the breasts. I'm not sure about the nipples, but then again, I don't see why it's impossible to get eczema there. I strongly advise you not to scratch it or even touch it. I've had and still have eczema from head to toe ever since I was a kid and now I'm almost 30. It goes away from time to time, but only worsens when I scratch. Maybe you should try some Keri oil after you shower or bathe.

Eczema on the nipples is not uncommon. It often shows up after several weeks or months of nursing and not in the very beginning. If a yeast infection has been ruled out (the symptoms are often similar), then treatment with a steroid ointment is often effective. If your doctor has just prescribed the ointment, then I would suggest giving it time to work. If it seems to be helping, then keep using it once a day or less for a while to keep the symptoms from reoccurring.

Whatever you do, do NOT itch it. Apply some aveno, alo vera, or vitamin E cream to it ASAP!
