lol well obviously flowers mean i'm sorry and chocolate means i love you, but this day and age no one ever gives chocolate bc it makes us think you think we're fat, and if the flowers are roses, that means someone better get lucky tonight, and like wild flowers or daisys mean that they love you

Meaning Of Chocolate In Love

OK, sounds like someone's nervous hey! OK, if you really want to make a point, give whatever symbolises how much you like the girl. If she's a die-hard romantic, give her a single red rose, wrapped nicely. But don't just do it cos u want to impress her. Do it because you like her so much, you're giving her a gift that says you appreciate her, etc. etc. Flowers and chocolates don't mean anything in particular, it's what you feel that counts as the meaning. Good luck!

I have found most British people to be quite polite and rather fun. I am an American, the son of a Scotsman, and if there was ever a people to dislike the Brits, it should either be a Scot or an Irishman. Growing up, I spent at least one day per week playing soccer with foreigners, as it was not a well known game back then. The differences in our cultures explain much of how we perceive them as such, but when you get to know the people, you will find they are truly a fun loving bunch and make as much fun of themselves as the do others. It is almost a British comical cultural thing. They make fun of each others' favorite teams, much as we do, but their style of humor comes across a little "off" by our standards. So, just try to realize our cultural differences are what makes us see them as the "high and mighty, self-righteous assholes", (that and the fact that we beat them for our independence and many are still bitter about that.)

Different colors of roses mean different things: white=purity/innocense, yellow=friendship, red=love, etc. Usually chocolate is associated with love, and is the usual gift at Valentine's Day. Chocolate causes the brain to secrete endorphins which make us feel good (similar to the feeling of being in love). So giving both of these gifts means you love someone.

I never really understood why there was meaning behind either of them. Chocolates are easily and quickly devoured, and a flower is a plant's vagina...soooo...none are too romantic if you ask me. Show a woman you care by giving her a bouquet of vaginas ;)
