Sounds like a fun sport. The Bible says that they'll be persecuted. Why don't we give the Bible a little bit of truth?

Ancient Romans did that as part of the pre-show at the gladiator games. What you are proposing is no different than what the Christians did to innocent people in the Middle Ages by burning them at the stake because they were believed to be devilworshippers (the Christian name for a witch) when they had no opportunity to plead their cases.
Most people would rather not go back to those types of behavior because they would like to think of themselves as much more refined and civilized. With all the various groups out there making melodramatic arguments over things that "stable" people consider to be trivial, why would you want to add to the fire and make it worse than it already is to begin with?
I don't agree with Christian beliefs but I have met some Christians in my everyday life who aren't scary or pushy, rare as those may seem. Why is religious tolerance not an acceptable idea at all?

In Saudi Arabia all Religions but Islam are heavily persecuted.
In China all religions final are persecuted.
In North Korea all religions final are persecuted.
In Iran All religions but Islam are persecuted.
In...
...
...
In America, People ask if they can through Christians to the lions, like the discontented mob in Rome who demanded these sort of sick bribes so that they did not overthrow the government and replace it with anarchy.
Also in Rome, mentally unstable Emperors persecuted Christians and burned their own capital.
So..
Do you want to overthrow the longest standing Constitution in the world because it refuses you your sick amusement, Or do you want to torch Washington D.C. and blame it on the innocent.
Also, take a look at your Question. If I suggested that we did that to gays or to atheists, would it be persecution? I bet it would at least be a hate crime.
And you are partially right, American Christians are amazingly blessed not to have to fear physical persecution at this point in time.

if Christians were fed to the lions, they would overeat, puke and continue to do so until their digestive system shut down then they would die, resulting in no more lions to puke from overeating Christians.
