My best years (so far) were high school. But i have soo many friends that college was their best or even afterwards. People change and grow up; i'm sure you're best days are up ahead. Patience pays. In the mean time, if it really annoys you, just ignore them

We've all been there mate.
You're 17? You're almost done. In some sense High school can be the greatest place in the world. And then for others, it can be the most miserable.
Whatever the case is, pull through it. I've seen some bad sh*t happen to some good people. Don't let the crap that goes on in your teen years determine the rest of your life. Pull through it! Life can only get better when it's at the bottom, eh!?

Hey i agree! I didnt like my high school years. I see them at the worst. I went to University (Australia) and that was a lot better. But its all worth it when you get through and start working. You have a life then and you can live your life!!!
Try to hang in there. I look back and wish I had of made more effort to make some different friends (not with the popular kids but just with others). Also really trying hard in school work gives you something to do, something to achieve and keeps the boredom away......most of the time anyway!
Theres surely someone you can find to start talking to. And dont worry about girlfriends! When you leave school you will find it easier.
Why not start going to one of those modern churches where there are a lot of youth. Most of those are really nice and are trying to make new friends too. I know - if someone told me that when i was in high school i would probably not listen either. But looking back i really wish that is what i had done. I didnt know there were any real cool churches though. All i thought was that all churches were boring and dead.
I have made heaps of new mates (friends) at our church (its the second biggest in Australia and it is so modern. The music is heaps cool and the people are really nice. I felt like a new person when i started going.
Anyway take care and try to listen to those people who tell you high school is the best time of your life. They are so wrong!!!!!!!!

Things get so much better after high school. You don't have to worry about any of those people then! Just go right now get your stuff done. Try your best so you can get into a decent college and look forward to the future! I found my boyfriend outside of highschool. Try looking else where for a girlfriend or even friends that what i did.

The only people that said high school is the best years of your life are 1. not in high school any more, or 2 were really popular in high school, you never hear that high school was great from an ex wall flower or someone that was picked on.
I suggest to any one that does not like or is having a really hard time in high school to see if they can leave early. get into college early or if it really comes down to it andyou are not planning on going to college, which I say you should, and it is that bad, I say take your G.E.D and start working full time.

I think you should change yourself! You should ask yourself why these things happen to you. Maybe it's because of you and you don't realize. You're still young and someday you will have a girlfriend. I'm 23 and still single. You look at some boys and they have girlfriends but you don't and feel bored or just want a girl to be "fashion"?

Trust me, high school is NOT the best time in your life! College and the first few years out of college are the BEST YEARS!! Even if you go to a community college in your town you meet alll new people, so you can sorta "start over" its so tight!! Look forward for COLLEGE!!!!!!!!

I hated high school.
but my friends made it bareable!
try making some
try being more positive, no one likes to be around a poor pitiful me, boo hoo kind of person
do you have any hobbies?
band? french club? spanish club? german club? soccer?
government? swim team? track team?
wrestling? track?
pick something.
remember, looks can be deceiving.
and first impressions can be false.
if you dont KNOW someone, how can you tell what they're really like?
to me you sound like a winer.
ah ha...........but i dont KNOW you.
so i could be wrong.
life is as great as you make it
you make it suck, and it will
you make it good, and more than likely, it will be
try it
what do you lose by trying?
