Being a thinker is a strength, but strengths carried to extremes become weaknesses. Thinkers are usually melancholy personality types. Try finding information on the four personality types: sanguine, choleric, melancholy, and phlegmatic. You should find lists of strengths and weaknesses, as well as tips for personal improvement.

Keep yourself busy, like spending some time at the gym, hanging out with your buddies, write a poem/song or do whatever you like to do. If it's something serious, I would suggest talking to someone who may have thought of the same thing.

You took the first and greatest step by recognizing it and asking for help!!!!!

I'm here to tell you--I did the same thing. I focused on 'things'--trying to overthink everything. But once you KNOW you are doing it, and it bugs you (and prob'ly others) --go to God, and tell Him you want to get RID of it.

HE WILL DO IT FOR YOU!!!
