everyone else sees that he is headed the wrong way only because they are not looking from the same angle as he.

People by nature are blind. We are born into this world innocent, we are soon corrupted by our parents and the people in our society.
There is one sure way to know you are right. Follow the golden rule or the rede.
"An harm none, do as ye will."
Live by this and you will always be doing what is right.
other people can see that a person is headed a wrong way because they may have more experience with life.
Also, when traveling down a path, one may put on blinders, and not be able to see the obvious.

Sometimes we tend to do what is comfortable but not right. That is why it is good to have quality friends that can help us to see clearly and when you read the bible, you may be surprised on how you find answers and it helps making the right decisions easier because you know it is right. I hope this helps. It does help to have a bible with a reference in the back, this way you can look up certain key words that will help you make certain decisions. There is also a web site that you can look up verses in the bible, it is great unfortunately I have not used it in a long time, maybe look under google. Good Luck =)

We try to do the honorable thing listening to what our heart and mind tells us only sometimes these things get in the way and blinds us. Others not in our shoes sees things clearly and don't always clue us in or sometimes they do and we don't want to see it. But I tell you, I'd much rather any day do what I thought was the honest right thing to do and fail than to be dishonest and succeed!! We are only human.

My opinion on this is that when a person is a honest person, they might see things differently than what is truly true. People think right and wrong differently. So if one thinks he is dong right, he could actually being doing wrong. My definition of honesty, rightfulness, truthful might be different from your definition. Usually society rules on what is correct, fact, truth, right, by majority vote or opinion.

Because not everyone sees the same thing, they go in different directions. And sometimes someone is too close to the problem to see the whole issue before them.

Can they? Isn't just that they are of the opinion it is opposite to their idea of what to do, or not do. Your first question is more to the point. What is right? What is the basis of what you do? Is it thought (what I think) or is there a free, natural, action?

The direction may seem wrong to others from their prespective. but not to the person walking the path that they have chosen.
