Yes, as a guy, I have had several blind dates, and most of them came out as kinda blah. Not really great and not really bad, just a "nice" time. Some ended up with sex on the first date and some ended up with me saying I had to go to the bathroom and never coming back. It's just like meeting anyone in life. Some people suck, some don't. I was having a hard time meeting people having moved to a new city so I was up for the blind date scene. If you are willing to take the chance then go for it, if you want to go to the bars and chance it that way....do that. You'll get about the same return on investment.

Blind Dates are a crap shot. Some can turn out really good and others can Bomb big time. Just remember the other person is wondering the same about you before meeting the you. What do they look like, what should I say, do we have anything in common, is this person intelligent or retarded. Would my friend really set me up with a Bomb date. Find out if the person that set up this date is getting anything out of it. Like a date with a friend of you blind. If so watch out. All I will say is go with an open mind and be yourself. First impressions are lasting ones

Went on a lunch date set up by some friends of mine on Monday...he was polite and nice and well mannered and the conversation was light. We parted ways with a quick hug and I returned to work. By Wednesday (I had not seen him again, but had spoken to him on the phone) he left a message on my Cell that said he loves me...I won't be calling him or seeing him again and have set the ringer for him on my cell to silent. Not a great experience and my friends from church are never going to set me up again.

One. The date was great. I ended up dating this guy for a while, got knocked up, had a miscarriage, realized this guy was an asshole, dumped him, moved on to something better until something better's ex-girlfriend came back into the picture and used their kid as leverage to get him to come back. Ain't life peachy!

I had one that was quite interesting.
I was 15 and he was 19, we went to the movies and things got sexual. We saw each other a few more times after that and "lost touch" (I started ignoring him). Then a few years later, we saw each other again, things got sexual again and we've been seeing each other for about a year now.
