because people can't handle honesty.
I to the truth once and it destoyed my life. The people I told the truth to now hate me and if I said nothing no one would be the wiser. It wasn't something I did it was how I felt. So lying cause less trouble and pain so why tell the truth.

if you went out on a first date would you tell the girl that you skipped a shower or two if she asked that's why, because the truth some times just isn't good enough or its just gross
