How about an answer from a chick, eh? The most important part is SINCERITY and dont go overboard. Tell her she means the world to you and she makes you happy and whole. Complimenting her on how good a gf she is and how special she is to you is even better than complimenting her looks (not a bad idea either ;))

You shouldn't had to hear anything from a guy to feel special.You should know that you are already special,and believe it in your heart.If you look for guys to say something to make you feel special,you may in for a surprise.Sweet things usually come out of guy when they want something.Mind you not all guys are like that,but if you can feel special about yourself,you will have no need to get conformation from someone else.Even though it is good to here sometimes from others,it can also put you in a position were you think you need to here it from others instead of feeling i about yourself.

Here are some I've said. "Your hair smells nice!" or "Nice Necklace! What brand is it?" Something like that.

you could also say something like "You look nice in those clothes!" Hope this helps. BTW it's "Compliments" not Complements. lol
