Well, as far as this question, I would strongly suggest that you read the Qur'an for the answers. Anyone can say about anything about any religion. I did have to laugh at the “moon god” thing, sheesh.

I am a Muslim who converted from Christianity. I spent over a year learning about Islam before I converted. I wanted to be sure I was doing the right thing. I don't think anyone can answer this question without studying Islam. There are too many crazies out there who listen to mainstream news, and take it as gospel. :-(

We are all “People of the Book”, that includes Muslims, Christians, and Jews. We are all children of Abraham. Start there.

There is one good book I can recommend. It is called “No god But God”, by Reza Aslan, ISBN 0-8129-7189-2. It's an excellent read. It is about the origins, evolution, and future of Islam.

Just don't listen to anyone who hasn't actually read the Qur'an, and you'll be fine.

That's how I can answer the question. Do the research, if you want to know, and I'll bet you'll come to the same conclusion I did. :-)

Peace

With a STUPID MIND one would accept-- without looking at the history of where it all came from.... desert worshipers of a moon god statue.

Muslims (and Islam) say Jesus was a prophet but they reject all His teachings ...

They reject Christ's divinity;
they reject his claim to be the Son of God;
they reject his death on the cross...
they reject His ressurrection..
They reject Jesus is the Christ/ Messiah...
Need I say more...?

Don't be deceived. The Islamic god is totally different than the God of Jesus Christ.

The Bible says:
"Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-Christ, that denies the Father and the Son. He that denies the Son, the same has not the Father." (I John 2:22)
