I go to sleep at around 11PM and have to wake up at 6:30AM the next day.I get really sleepy and my eyes get heavy at around 10PM...but I always force my self a extra hour.I hate it.Its effecting my ability to study. And I find myself sleepy during 1st period.Since I spend most of the day doing HW(Get home from school at around 3PM).Any advice?

Its not like I'm skipping meals. And not exercising.
(I spend a hour day swimming...I eat a full breakfast...a burrito at lunch...full dinner at night)
So I really dont know why I'm always tired so quick.

you need to let yourself go to bed earlier. 8 hours would be typical amount of sleep, ESPECIALLY since you swim an hour a day. you should be exhausted. if you are like me and no matter how tired you are, you can't go to bed earlier, try taking a short nap after school so that you are rested to study and do homework and you can still stay up late without worrying.also try taking vitamins in the morning for that extra push of energy.

Try organizing HW time- do some HW at lunch, have any free classes do some there. Teens usually need about 8 hrs of sleep- try to get them(God knows we don't get any more than 5 hrs in college). Also, if your eyes are sleepy, sleep-your body is trying to tell you something don't ignore it. Try adding more carbs to your diet- it gives a great deal of energy. My strategy, I get all my HW done by dinnertime or maybe an hour after dinner, but that is all- after that, study a bit and then get your zzzzzzs. A good nite's sleep really helps the next day.

You are so tired because in addition to everything else, you are still physically developing, whether it is growing taller or putting on more mass. Growing your body takes a lot of energy also. You really need to get an hour or more additional sleep, plus reduce your carbohydrate intake if possible and increase proteins.

It could be that your blood is low on iron, take some iron supplements for a week and see if that helps. Iron in the blood is what gives it energy, so if your low on fuel you might be low on iron.
