I was just thinking...You all believe that Jeus was a prophet. And you believe that prophets speak the truth, also correct right? Jesus said he was God, so if He was a prophet and prophets speak the truth, why don't you believe Him?
And, Do any of you REALLY believe that Mohammed "fixed" the moon as he claimed?

Jesus DID in fact say he was God. He said He was the Son of God too. Read the bible! There are TONS of passages!

You are absolutely correct and rightfully should ask that question ....
Jesus clearly said He was God,....that's why the Jews wanted to kill him....only the Biblically ignorant would be foolish enough to says otherwise...
Jesus said: "if you have seen the me you have seen the Father'.
Muslims (and Islam) say Jesus was a prophet but they reject all His teachings ...
They reject Christ's divinity;
they reject his claim to be the Son of God;
they reject his death on the cross...
they reject His ressurrection..
They reject Jesus is the Christ/ Messiah...
Need I say more...?
Don't be deceived. The Islamic god is totally different than the God of Jesus Christ .
"Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-Christ, that denies the Father and the Son. He that denies the Son, the same has not the Father." (I John 2:22)
And many other statements claiming to be God.

I consider myself more Buddhist then anything, possibly because they are one of the few 'religions' that aren't really a religion (and they are also a people whom have never had a holy war or even started a war) and I just wanted to point out something.
People of today, irregardless of their religion, or lack of, are very much stuck on the word. People are far too concerned with what rules are out there then they are with seeking the truth. The truth can not be spoken, it can not be written. It can only be known by quieting the mind and it's constant chatter and hearing the now. Becoming totally engrossed with what is going on around you. This takes practice, and my....wish for the world is that they would spend more time doing that then arguing pointless things.
I have heard that a great enlightenment will occur when the brother of the east unites with the brother of the west. I have also heard that it's time is very near.

We do believe that Jesus was a prophet but we don't believe that he was a God or the son of God.Jesus never claimed to be a God or the son of God.This is certain misunderstanding spread by nonbelievers.
Yes I believe that once Muhammad(Peace be upon him) did split the moon in two halves by the decree of Allah and then again refixed the two halves.This incident is mentioned in Holy Quran.

We Muslims have studied Bible very well, and we didn't find anywhere in the Bible where Jesus says "I am God" or "Worship Me". From your statements I assume that you do not know Bible very well. Please make your research.
Current Bible is a work of man, Trinity and other concepts were introduced by later scholars and not by Jesus. Remember Jesus never talked about Trinity as well. He mentioned about Father and Holy Spirit, we refer to God as Father as well, but as a Spiritual Father unlike Christians. Holy Spirit refers to Angel Gabriel in Islam. So you guys got all mixed up!

Because to us there is only one God
And God is not human.
But Jesus was human
So therefor Jesus is not God.
What exactly do you mean by fixed the moon. If you mean split the moon. Then Yes!
He did this as one of the miracles to show arab pagans of that time that he truly was a prophet of God.
Some believed him.
Some didn't.

We believe that the bible was written by men, unlike the Qur'an which was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) by angel Gabriel. These divine revelations were recorded by his closest sahabahs (companions) and one of his wives, Aisha, memorized many of them. The Qur'an was only compiled into a book after the demise of the Prophet (pbuh).
Plus, there is no where in the bible that Jesus said, "I am God. Worship me."
