Thats BS, the doctor should have gotton that out, this is dangerous due to the bone could get lodged in his airway and choke while hes asleep, go see another doc ASAP, A friend of mine had a chicken bone to do this, he almost died from it, the doctors had to remove it

Go to the doctor! The doctor that gave you the advice on getting it out was right for maybe the first couple hours, but it's been longer than that and the bone is still in place. There are a lot of bacteria that would love to infect the throat and can lead to some serious problems.
Don't let your dad torture himself any longer. No one deserves pain and discomfort. You've done what you can, go get some professional to remove it!

The bone must be very small or his doctor would not have advised him the way he did. However, I'd see a doctor who is a specialist in throat problems. He or she would have the tools necessary to get the bone out. There's no need for your Dad to suffer the pain.

I used to hear that if you eat bread it would push a fish bone down, but I don't know about a goat bone.
Is it too far down to gargle with 10 volume peroxide?
It only costs about 50 cents a bottle, and it will boil out a splinter, so it would help the bone - if it is not too far down.
Good luck.

Omigosh-no!!!
I'm sorry- that's GOT to be uncomfortable! AND scary!
I wouldn't have waited on signs of ANY kind. I would have been to the hospital already!!
I pray everything's allright!
