About 1%. Hep C is passed through blood to blood contact so you need to be careful when you are intimate at certain times, and never share razors or toothbrushes. There is a lot of really good information on the Internet about precautions to take with this.

Odds are low, must be blood to blood contact, example ; both persons have open sore or cuts . Two specialist stated - "it just doesn't happen that way" when I asked the question. Also, check Hep C and colloidal silver, many cures, no side effects. Hep C is not commonly passed through sex. However it is posible. Some activities carry more risks, such as anal sex. Practice safe sex, and be sure to disclose your status to your partner (if you haven't already).

HCV is blood to blood transfer ONLY. HCV corpuscles which are found in semen and vaginal fluid are NOT transferable active virons!!!
There has to be blood to blood transmission for infection to happen!
NOT ONE person I have ever had sex with has hepatitis c!!!!!

It depends on whether it is active or not. Either way, the only responsible thing to do is tell your partner and use protection.
