My sister had a falling out with my parents about two years ago. She has spoke to them less and and less since then and now she doesn't speak to any of us at all! What is going on and how can I get her to come around?

You can't, she has to do it in her own time. I hope she does, cause I did the same thing and my mom passed away and we didn't speak for the last 3 years of her life, after being very close for the rest. I miss her so much. You never know what can happen. But she has to want to make up, you can't push her or she will go away for good. Just let her know you are there if she needs you, she might be going thru something none of you know about.

Try talking to her. If she doesn't want to talk on the phone, write a letter. Let her know how you feel, and that you miss her. At least you can let her know, and if she still ignores you, then you have had a chance to let her know what is going on in your head and how what she is doing is effecting you. You can't change her, but let her know you love her, and maybe she will come around.

Try to make the first move. Call her or go see her and let her know her problems with your parents don't have to affect your relationship with her. If she does not respond well let her know you will be waiting to hear from her when she is ready. If she never responds to you then you will know that you have tried.

for one thing u have to have the facts straight........ she i guess had a fight with them about something.... it could be from something small or something big. some parents disown family members for certain thing's. like being gay for one..... for example. maybe she said terrible thing's about the both of them & she won't take it back... that is grounds for disownment.
