Why does TEFLON stick to the frying pan, since nothing ever sticks to TEFLON?

its held on by super glue under the teflon and above the metal of the pan

Don't know but did you hear TEFLON causes cancer? I can't seem to part with my favorite fry pans with TEFLON!
