My BF is not into holding hands when we are out...maybe only occasionally. He does it when we are crossing roads.
This concerns me because it is really funny we just walk side by side when we are a couple...

A lot of younger guys don't find it 'cool' to hold hands.Holding your hand crossing a road proves how he feels for you!!!!

Not all guys are that way. It is an individual thing. Personally I love to hold hands. Maybe he has some sort of committment issues. It is weird to me that you just walk side by side. Seems to me if he really liked you that he would do it all the time.This is just my opinion.

Try asking him about it. Let him know that you like it when he holds your hand. If he is uncomfortable about it, ask why. Like someone else on here said, he may have sweaty hands and be self-conscious about it. He may just not like public displays of affection. All you can do is let him know how you feel, and that it bothers you. If he loves you, he will be willing to make an effort to change that.

I still hold hands with my husband and we put our arms around each other when we are seated in an audience side by side. We have been married for decades.

maybe he has some problems bugging him, example finance, friends, etc.
it is good he holds your hand while you both are crossing the road. he seems a self-disciplined kind of person to me.

Not true! The guys I know love holding hands with their girlfriends...Your guy is probably not a touchy/feely type of individual.

i think of it is thoroughly ok to hold a females hand on the 1st date and whats even sweeter is that in case you ask her to hold it... It exhibits which you recognize her... Have lots of enjoyable!! :)
