it will be difficult unless hes your son or your husbands son..is he/she related to you..as you cannot sponser a child to live with you in the states unless its your own child.or if you adopted before marriage...no grandchildren..no nephews or nieces...take a look at the website www.ins.gov or any other goverment site that deals with naturlisation and immigration...you will have a tough deal with it though..good luck

every province has M C F D ministry children family development some are harsher but they won't stand for abuse and they rather kid goes to other parent or grandparent who ever is more stable. I don't think country to country would matter as long as best interest for the child.

You have not given enough information. Are you a birth parent? Are you a US citizen? Do you have legal custody or shared custody? There are legal remedies if you say yes to these questions. Otherwise you will have to use the Mafia.
