How much power does it take? What components does it use? Can you buy just the vibrating portion? How much does it vibrate/move?

The vibrator in the the cell phone is a small DC motor with a small counter weight on the shaft. When it is driven by logic in the cell phone, it spins very fast and its off balance spin creates the vibration sensation.
