No, if you have makeup on and rub gold on your face it has some kind of reaction telling you that it is real gold or at least plated with real gold. It will turn black (your skin that is) but it has nothing to do with your health. It washes or rubs off.

Never heard of gold, but a quarter will do the trick. Our family doctor had my daughter do this to watch her iron level.

No scientific basis. Hemogram shows micro cytic hypochromic picture if your iron content is low. It`s scientific easy and cheap.
