Whether you ignored him or not and you begged him to give you another chance? Just a question because I'm curious how you'd answer that. I apologize if it's a stupid question.

Some people said they can actually hear him inside them, like talking to someone else.

One of the best ways to train yourself is to become fully familiar with what the Bible says because Jesus said that the Holy Spirit would remind us of what He said and because if you think that God is speaking to you then you have to know if the message you are receiving is in accordance with his written Word since God never contradicts Himself.

For instance, if someone believes that God is telling them to marry another person and that other person isn't a Christian then that's not God speaking to them. It's either their own imagination or a deceiving spirit since God tells us not to be yoked with unbelievers.

The other way to train yourself to hear God's voice is to be prayerful. When we come to God in prayer we open up the channel of communication like when we pick up the telephone and dial someones number. If you spend all of your time watching TV and chasing after the things of this world and very little time reading the Bible and praying then you greatly reduce your opportunities to hear from God.

God has "spoken" to me occasionaly in a way that I just knew that it was Him, but for the most part He speaks to us through his written word. The Holy Spirit will sometimes lead us to a passage in the Bible and give us a personal revelation about how it applies to our lives at that time. Unfortunately, sometimes when He does this a person gets a word that is meant only for them and they go out and tell other people that they need to live their lives a particular way when in reality God was just letting them know his particular will for their life and not his will for the lives of all of his children.

Pray for Him to speak to you. As for actually hearing Him inside, I don't think I ever really feel like that. I think, more often than not, the Holy Spirit talks to me through my gut feelings. Sometimes I will definitely have a thought that I'm pretty sure came from God, but usually it's just a little nagging thought. Lots of time Bible verses will pop into my head, and I realize that I'm doing something wrong and God's telling me to fix it.

Rachel, you have a beautiful name. It means ewe or sheep. Jesus Christ told Peter to feed His Sheep. That means the Word of God. The Bible.

If you do the Commandments that God has given you, you will here His Voice everyday. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God.

God loves you so much Rachel. Even the name you were given at birth ends with God. You are a ewe or sheep of God. Listen to His voice. Its a whisper at times. Its a thought that just pops into your head. and sometimes, Its a shout so loud you think everyone could hear but its only meant for you.

Accept His Son Jesus Christ and repent of your sins with a true heart and the Holy Spirit will descend upon you with fire that warms you completely.

If you walk hand in hand with the Son you can always hear His voice.><>

Much prayer and studying God's word. The more you know God's ways (through His Word), the more likely you will be sensitive to the Holy Spirit's leading.

I am reading Proverbs and this is really helping me in this area.

You don't have to Beg GOD to give you another Chance. HE is way far ahead of you on that. HIS Mercy is Incredible.
GOD communicates with HIS Children mostly by Impressions. But HE can talk to you to.
Be careful and don't let the Devil trick you into thinking you Heard from GOD. It's Tricky. Very Tricky.
Thats how the devil is, tricky and Decieving.
Pray alot and Read your Bible and go to Services.

Look up in the sky up there and yell out TALK TOO MEE GOD! that is what you have to do but but, be ready to listen even if he talks and you don't understand you have to say it to the person you see next who walks in your path and they will cry; and rather if you can hear him or you can't understand because of the lack of hearing from the clicking of a car a fan, or anything never i say never yell at the Holy Spirit. never, did you hear me Never yell or or, he will stop talking just like he started he will stop. Ok. good.
God bless all in Jesus name Amen.

I think it's different for everybody. The only advice I can give you is to listen, listen, listen. With you head and your heart.

I think God wants a relationship with anyone who wants that, too. He is pretty good about giving us another chance. Trust me, I think I've been given more than my fair share.

You can't train yourself. The Universe speaks when it needs to be heard. Anybody that tells you otherwise is feeding you bs. Remember we are just humans. She (God) gave us the guidlines with no guarentees. Be more concerned with doing what's right and less concerned with the benefits.

We don't hear God's voice. He does not speak to us directly. The God of the Bible speaks thru the Bible and you are to relate those thing to your life. Also, it is said that He speaks thru his believers but I don't believe that to be true. All those I've heard out there that say they are believers speak hatred, condemnation and separationism. Unless you are like them, they don't want you. See the Bible says "Thy word have I hidden in my heart." That only means the word as written, not heard.

We hear Him all the time. That small voice in side that tell you things like" don't say,do, and act like that" is God trying to guide you in His ways. God is Good and(for the most part) tells you to do Good things. The more you give Him you mind, body, and soul, the more you pray and want Him to speak to you, the more you can reconize His voice." What is mine is yours(love and peace), what is yours is mine( burden and pain),the more you give( of you self), the more your going to get,(of God)what is mine is yours, what yours is mine, the more you give the more the Son will shine." (Jesus in and through you)
