I have seen and have answered many questions about religion and being Christian. I notice that I seem to be the only one that admits that I do wrong everyday and that I am not perfect. I do not quote Bible verses and bash anyone for the sins they commit because I do the same. I truely believe a sin is a sin. I mess up like everyone else. Just because I am a Christian doesn't mean I am any better than an athiest or the guy in jail. My first rules of being Christian are to not judge, which can be hard at times, and to love one another. If I can't love or even like someone, I don't take revenge or get nasty, I just walk away. Yes these are my rules and I fail at times. I will never be able to follow the Bible.. none of us can word by word. I do what I can. If everybody in the world loved each other and didn't judge anyone imagine the peace there would be. Before I get bashed about what I SHOULD be doing, i will say that I believe in guiding others to God, not forcing it.

I do my best not to sin. Thinking the wrong thing....worrying, doubting, trying to take matters in my own hands.. they are all sins. I swear at times.. yes.. even i do..I get angry when I shouldn't, I sometimes hate what God has handed me in life, yet I sitll believe and LOVE God. When I pray at night, I thank Him for everything, even the bad things in life becasue i know they will bring me strength, but I don't have to like it. God gave us ALL the feelings we feel, but we have to use them in the right way.

TO THELADY... you just sinned by judging me... therefore you are not following the Bible. Why can't you see this as a Christian? We are supposed to know this is a sin.. right? I don't care if anyone calls me a hypocrite.. EVERYBODY sins! Even you.

I think you are being very honest with all of us, and I am truly thankful to you for it. I will start paying more attention to what I say and do to keep from hurting others. I really thank you for bring this to my attention. It is my greatest desire to bring people to the Lord, but sometimes I just get carried away, and don't really keep myself in check.. again thank you.

If anyone says they don't sin then they are being deceived. We all fall short of the glory of God. We must go to the cross each and everyday and be cleansed. The bible also says hate the sin not the sinner, cause we are all sinners. No sin is bigger or smaller than another. Therefore we are all the exact same. EVERYONE sins, so we must love each other and help each other in their walk with God.

pink9364,
I'm with you on that. There are a couple of things that come to mind on this:
1) We say it over and over again, and people don't seem to get it. We are sinners, and we are saved by grace. Yet Satan has a lot of angles to come against this. He brings those that were taught a perfection doctrine, and he brings those like the Atheists, that can only think that a sin automatically means Hell for everyone.

2) Those that bring up any sort of sin in the Old Testament mainly to ask why don't Christians do these punishments to those that do the sin. For which we ought to reply that we are not under the Law, and those that are are under the urse of the Law, that we fulfill the Law by Faith, but see there! The explanation takes too many words for many to understand. So the gift that God gives to those of His to communicate the word of God so that it sinks in better to those He calls that have not yet responded.

Anyways, it's a constant battle, but God gives us tools and power in order to fight it.

This is how I raised my children, If I seen they were going into the fire, I stopped them, I didn`t lie to them and let them believe the fire wouldn`t burn them, I told them the truth, If were gonna be Christians, we have to tell the truth, we can`t straddle the fence, or he will spew us out, we can`t be for Good and for Evil, you have to choose, you either serve God, or you serve the Devil. No one is forcing, this is a question and answer site, and thats whats going on here, And by the way, if your not following the Bible, and your telling people your a christian, don`t you think, one day their gonna call you a hypocrite, for saying and doing things, that should not be being done by a christian? Im not saying we don`t sin, but when the world sees a christian sin, thay call them hypocrites, not just christians with faults.. I think your more concerned about pleasing MAN, then you are GOD.

I will admit I sin everyday. Although I try not to some days are worse than others. However, i do quote the bible because I feel it is my tool to live by and by quoting I am not only teaching, I am learning.

You are right it is hard not to judge that is human. I am guilty of it too.

All we can do is do our best. Teach the truth, guide, but do not force. God will do the rest.

Bless you

No you are not the only Christian to admit you sin, I do
We are not perfect. I spread the word of God every
where. It is not up to us to judge, I live my life the way I think God wants me to. I can only hope it is the right way.
I do hope I can make it to Heaven some day. I have a lot of family I really want to see again. Just keep your faith,
you cannot force God on other people, God gives you the choice to choose between right and wrong. You cannot
force it.

I'm a Christian and I sin every single day. I suppose that evryone does, it's just a taboo matter to really talk about it with other people. It's strange really, but I think that once we realise how much we really sin, it scares us a bit and we take some action in it. As long as we turn to Jesus Christ for love and guidance and we believe in Him, He'll help us.
Isn't that just wonderful about being a Christian?
Can you imagine if God simply gave up on us??? Thankfully, He has SO much love for the human race.

the bible promises us many times that there will never be complete peace. only Jesus within the heart can provide peace and understanding. i have been a christian or a while. i believe that you are on the right track but don't try to guide yourself on these guidelines. prayer is essential. i find that if i pray daily, any time, there is instant relief. i hope you have found that this answer will help you. " For we have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God."

Hats off to you! I am Catholic, and although I try very hard, life is not easy. We all make mistakes. Things happen to all of us. For you to realize your faults is commendable. I wouldn't worry about what others think or do. Follow your heart, you are doing just fine. We all sin at one time or another. I believe that most people are good people. We just get a little lost sometimes in the midst of all of lifes chaos.

No you're not. We are human and have the strong self centeredness that guides choices we make. I know I've been very distant from caring friends because I thought they were judging me and really it was just me judging me thinking they were doing it too. I like everything you said and admire your stand. We grow in the grace He gives us everyday. It's humbling and it's nurturing at the same time. Bless you!
