It really confuses me when people are mean to you but actually like you. Do you ever do that and why?

I never thought that to be true when dealing with adults...that's more of a kid thing. Nope, I don't do it. =/

I've only done that a few times and only because I knew the guy was a jerk and wouldn't fall for me if I was already his. Guys can be jerks like that. Some a really nice and then I'm as sweet as sugar, but that doesn't answer your question, now does it?

NO, I do it sometimes because I dont know what to say or do because some of us get somewhat nervous and panic. For the msot part I think you shouldnt take it too seriously and maybe try to get to know em a little, if it continues once he's comfortable...cut em off

if you're not "miss popularity" then maybe they don't want their friends to know they like you. it's okay to come out say you like the most popular girl in school, but maybe they don't think they can handle the peer pressure of liking someone who isn't the most popular girl in school. it's immature, normal for a lot of males under the age of 18 - 20. some don't out grow it because their friends are too shallow. unfortunately, girls will do this too. it's dishonest, immature and they miss out on some really great friends.
real friends are the ones who accept you for who you are and don't talk behind your back.
i accept my friends, faults, fat, bald, lazy, stupid, (okay i have problem with stupid) and the rest of 7 dwarfs. i'm there for them and they are there for me.

Yes, I do that sometimes. Because you want to impress the other person by being tough, I guess.

Thats the only explanation I can come up with...because besies that, it just doesnt seem logical.
