I wouldn't.

First of all, I don't feel I have any right to force my religion and religious beliefs on anyone. I am more than happy to share my faith and answer any questions that I can about my religion, but if I try to force Christianity on anyone, what good does it do? Second, following a popular Christian mantra: would Jesus do that? Cuz I certainly don't remember Jesus "Torah Bashing" anyone.

But most importantly, I try to live my life by the words of St. Francis of Assisi and let people take their cue from that:

"Preach the Gospel at all times. If necessary, use words."

They would do this: Hey! Atheist! Do you wanna burn in hell forever? No? Well then you better get you some Jeeezusssah. Say it with me son: Jeeeeeeezzzuusssssah.
There. Doncha feel better now? Hey, toss a little somethin' in the collection plate on yer way out. D'ja think this was free or somethin'? Love donation. Jus' give whatever your soul is worth.
NEXT!
Or something equivalent thereto.
Dang! Now I have to change my nickname again...

aeisthist like scientifical things. So try to prove him with "facts" that Jesus existed and that the holy spirit exists. google things on "God and the Holy Spirit" Historical references of scientists that have converted. or testimonials of people who used to be atheist.
this webites might help:

"If you don't believe in God, then you have no hope." God is someone very personal to you. God will make you feel better whenever you have no one to listen to you. God is not your helper but your source of strength. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be who I am now. Don't wait until you need him to worship him. (clarify that by worshop doesn't mean become a christian right away and stop commiting sins, it means say thank you for letting me breath and live one more day)
good luck

I wouldn't try at all....
i'm not a christian because someone "converted" me.
this is the religion that i chose of my own free will.
actually before i became a christian nothing turned me off more than someone preaching to me...i still hate people trying to force beliefs on me...this goes for religious and non religious groups.
so it's really up to you not anyone else to help you find christ.
doesn't really matter to me anyway...i'll sit down and have a beer with you no matter what you believe in.

By studying the scripture, and being an example in your own life. These are the only ways. Then if the person refuses to obey, they aren't refusing you, they are refusing God. You have done what you were told. There soul is not on your hands.

2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness

That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Y'know, a true friend would just accept a person for what they are. Why do we insist on making everyone like us? The Buddha Gutama taught that we should have tolerance for all--regardless of what they believe.

Interesting, not many takers. I thought when I looked at the answers that they would be jumping all over you. Funny. Perhaps you need a better baiting phrase like, I'm confused about God what do you think? That should draw them in.
