My Asian mother claims that if you're in love, you can't study or concentrate in school. I think it really depends on the person, but she doesn't think so. What do you guys think? Do you agree with her, or do you beg to differ?

I'm in college and it was affecting both of ours. We live in two different cities, both in college. It hurt so much that we can not be together that yesterday we decide to cool it awhile, or until one of us hits the lottery.

Well my parents are South Asian and they think the same way. It really does differ with each person- for me, a crush flips me out and some times I just zone out thinking about him- but seriously, when I get over the anitial attraction, I'm back to normal. So i guess its different with everyone

yes you cant concentrate if you are inlove because you cant control urself to think of her instead of thinking of your studies,,, all you have to do is to balance both of them... even you are inlove you have to give enough time and concentration to your studies and enough time for love.
