My daughter is three years old and the neighbor kid is almost six, he keeps talking about how they're going to get married and he's always trying to kiss her.
His mother says its harmless and if they ever want to go on dates she will go with them. I think that he's too old for her and I'm worried.
Help!?

Sir, don't worry it's harmless it's just little kids, me and my little neighbor used to do that to and know he is my best friend, maybe you can teach the kid to treat women right at a young age that way when he gets older he won't be a jerk, I think it's a good age, even though she won't probable doesn't understand the significance of the kiss, talk to your daughter and tell her to save the kiss for someone very special not on the neighbor, the kissing and dating is too much but the hanging out isn't. DAD take a deep breath!!! It is completely harmless... My mother takes my daughter to this play date thing every week with a boy about my daughters age. And every time she comes home grandma tells me about her bf. She is 13 months old. Its kind of annoying, but cute at the same time. At least at the age they are you don't have to worry about weather or not they are doing 1st base, 2 base, 3rd base, and home plate.

Ur worried about a six yr old??? Please. The "child" has no idea wtf he is really doing. He's exploring the world as ALL children do at his age. He probably saw this on tv or saw his parents kissing and probably thinks its a normal thing a boy and girl do. Its harmless. Like the others said, he can't do anything, he has no such knowledge of things at his age, ur daughter of three yrs is quite safe.

Why? He can't do anything to her. Its not like she is 14 and he is 17.Then I would be worried. Other than that its harmless.

Nothing is going on. They are really just friends. Worry when they are in high school. They are just being kids.
