What is the Latin equivalent of "peaceful revolution"?

How about this:

Concors Cursus

It sounds nice and looks nice. And the translation of cursus is 'revolution/ forward movement/charge', which I think is more of the spirit of a revolution, rather than just a turning. Concors is 'agreeing/concurring/like-minded/peaceful', which again I think is more in the spirit of a peaceful revolution.

It depends somewhat on the type of revolution you mean, social or miltary. "Revolution" literally means to "make a circle". Here are a couple of candidates.

nova res pacatus
ambitus pacalis

imbellis - not fighting
pacalis - peaceful
pacatus - pacified

ambitus - going around (of things)
nova res - new thing (political change)

It helps to know the declensions but here's a source:

Good luck!

Novae res pacales (peaceful political changes)

The cases must match in Latin - nominative with nominative, feminine with feminine, and plural with plural.

Ambitus is not the best word to use, as it does not mean "revolution" in the same political sense as novae res (which is feminine plural). You could also replace pacales with imbelles or pacatae (feminine plural forms).

I am not aware of an accurate direct translation. The phrase has two competing and inverse subjects. I think anyone using Latin would have a hard time putting these two concepts together without more elaboration.

Here's the Italian from babel fish I imagine it would be somewhat similar. They do not have a Latin translator un-fortunately.

giro pacifico
